About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, guests, and staff. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, enjoys helping others, and is committed to providing excellent service while following established safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate housekeeping equipment and use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer guidelines.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous housekeeping, janitorial, hospitality, healthcare, or senior living experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Clean resident rooms, common areas, offices, restrooms, and other facility spaces according to health and sanitation standards.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces throughout the facility.
  • Empty trash receptacles and ensure all areas remain free of clutter and odors.
  • Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels.
  • Operate housekeeping equipment such as vacuums, floor cleaners, and washing machines.
  • Stock and replenish cleaning supplies, linens, toiletries, and other housekeeping materials.
  • Maintain clean, organized storage rooms and housekeeping carts.
  • Assist with room setup for meetings, activities, and special events.
  • Safely move and arrange furniture as needed.
  • Follow all infection control, safety, and chemical handling procedures.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to resident requests and concerns.
  • Report maintenance issues, damaged property, safety hazards, lost-and-found items, or unusual occurrences to management.
  • Provide occasional assistance with meal service and delivery as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure resident satisfaction.
