About The Position

RoseWood Village is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented full-time Housekeeper to maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for senior living residents, families, and team members. The role includes preparing vacant apartments for move-in, cleaning occupied apartments weekly or as scheduled, and maintaining the community’s common areas according to the established cleaning schedule. The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring a high degree of cleanliness throughout the community.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Should be familiar with the safe operation of cleaning equipment, including vacuums and spray bottles, and the safe use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Must pass a criminal background screening.
• Must adhere to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy; associates are subject to the policy.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean vacant apartments in preparation for move-in using the Company Checklist and report problem areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Clean occupied, respite, and guest apartments as scheduled using the Company Checklist and report problem areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Detail-clean halls and other common areas as scheduled or when requested by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Monitor cleaning-supply inventory and report needed items to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Keep laundry rooms and housekeeping and linen rooms clean and organized.
• Clean dryer lint traps daily and clean the area behind washer and dryer equipment weekly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
