About The Position
Powdersville Post Acute is a 60-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Easley, SC, just minutes from downtown Greenville. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. This role is essential to ensuring resident comfort, infection prevention, and overall facility cleanliness.
Requirements
- Ability to follow instructions, policies, and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, organized, and team-oriented
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred; healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and sanitize assigned areas
- Clean lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and other public spaces
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, dispensers, and other surfaces
- Dust and sanitize handrails and high-touch areas
- Operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies safely and effectively
- Follow all safety procedures, infection control guidelines, and chemical handling protocols
- Maintain housekeeping carts, storage areas, and supplies in a clean and organized manner
- Report safety concerns, maintenance issues, and supply needs promptly
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and visitors
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet facility cleanliness standards
