This role is vital in ensuring a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for all guests and staff through the systematic execution of hotel cleaning protocols.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and a "guest-first" mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and follow a structured schedule.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or professional cleaning is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive cleaning of guest rooms, including stripping and making beds, dusting surfaces, and vacuuming, following the hotel’s established sanitation sequence.
  • Clean and disinfect all bathroom fixtures, surfaces, and floors; replenish towels and guest amenities to brand standards.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of hallways, elevators, and lobby areas to ensure a positive first impression for arriving guests.
  • Monitor and restock housekeeping carts and storage closets; report any inventory shortages or equipment malfunctions to management immediately.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the proper handling of cleaning chemicals and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Conduct final room inspections to ensure all items (linens, electronics, climate control) are in perfect working order before guest arrival.
  • May perform other duties as assigned to support department goals.
  • May occasionally work extended hours based on operational needs.
