About The Position
The Housekeeper provides housekeeping services to maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe environment centered on patients and families. The role includes cleaning patient rooms after discharge, cleaning other facility areas as assigned, providing linen services, monitoring the facility for cleaning needs, and safely using cleaning supplies and equipment. The schedule is 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills to enter patient room turnover.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work safely with cleaning supplies and equipment.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Clean patient rooms promptly after patient discharge.
- Clean nursing units, surgical areas, offices, laboratory areas, waiting areas, public restrooms, and other assigned areas.
- Provide linen services throughout the facility.
- Monitor the facility to identify items and areas needing cleaning and attention.
- Use cleaning supplies and equipment in accordance with safety regulations.
- Work safely with cleaning supplies and apply safety practices while multitasking.
- Demonstrate Service Excellence at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
