About The Position

Provide cleaning services for areas within the University’s academic, sporting, and event facilities, which comprise more than three million square feet. Set up and break down equipment and apparatuses used by sports programs and special events. Use a variety of skills across multiple trades to maintain facilities for academic, sporting, special-event, and public use. Help maintain a functional, attractive, and safe campus environment in a cost-effective manner. Personnel are required to train to their potential to support effective development and make the best use of available resources.

Requirements

• Some knowledge of cleaning procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to perform medium to heavy physical work, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Special certification may be required for some positions.

Nice To Haves

• Cleaning experience in an industrial setting.
• Microfiber and green cleaning experience.
• Ability to work both within a team and independently.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to perform medium to heavy physical work.
• Ability to attain certifications required in some areas.
