The Housekeeper will clean and maintain a safe living environment for all residents according to the specified schedule, including areas such as resident suites, bathrooms and common areas on a daily basis. Parker at Monroe provides nursing and memory care services to individuals with all stages of dementias, who may also have complex physical needs. The campus consists of six “small homes”; sixteen elders with similar needs reside in each small home. The homes and programs are designed to promote independence, dignity, and a sense of community among our elders and their care partners. Requirements

  • High school graduate or G.E.D. required.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and productively with a diverse population, promoting a sense of teamwork.
  • Able to lift/carry 50 lbs. with regular frequency and able to push and/or pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Flu vaccination required during flu season.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years' experience with the geriatric population preferred.
