About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role contributes to the communities HCSG serves by supporting cleanliness and enhancing customer and resident experiences.

The Housekeeper performs daily cleaning and sanitation tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices; follows established procedures, safety guidelines, infection-control policies, and universal precautions; and records cleaning activities. The role also involves reporting maintenance or safety issues, interacting positively with residents, staff, and guests, and completing other duties as assigned. The position requires residency within the service area and the ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Ability to work around cleaning products.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Clean and sanitize all areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection-control and universal-precautions policies to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
