About The Position

Puget Sound Care is hiring a Housekeeper/Laundry Aide for its 4-Star skilled nursing facility in West Olympia. The facility provides long-term care and short-term acute care. The role supports the facility’s residents and staff through housekeeping and laundry work. The position is offered for the day shift and is described as full-time, though part-time schedules may also be possible. Requirements

Must be able to read, write, and follow verbal and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
Ability to remain calm under stressful conditions and make decisions.
Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials, State officials, and the general public.
Must have compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly, and understand their needs.
Must be able to work full-time or part-time on a regular schedule, and on-call as needed.
Must meet all state health requirements.
Must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
