The Housekeeper for the Pediatrics Clinic plays a vital role in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff. This position supports daily clinic operations by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, infection control, and organization throughout the facility. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail‑oriented, and committed to ensuring a positive patient experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred, especially in healthcare settings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work independently and follow established cleaning schedules and protocols.
• Reliable and able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize exam rooms, restrooms, hallways, waiting areas, and office spaces.
• Maintain proper infection‑control standards, including routine disinfection of high-touch surfaces.
• Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, PPE, and cleaning materials.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and follow all safety protocols.
• Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in maintaining a tidy, organized, and welcoming environment for patients and families.
• Support the clinic with additional housekeeping needs during high‑volume periods.
