POSITION OVERVIEW: The Pediatric Office Manager oversees the daily administrative operations of the Cedar City pediatrics clinic, ensuring smooth workflow, excellent patient service, and strong support for clinical providers. This role requires a confident leader with outstanding communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills who can manage both people and processes in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in medical office management or healthcare administration required; pediatric experience a plus.
  • Strong leadership and team‑building abilities.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and standard office software.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain composure in a fast‑paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor front office staff, ensuring efficient and professional clinic operations.
  • Coordinate daily workflows, including patient scheduling, check‑in/check‑out processes, and billing support.
  • Oversee patient service functions, promoting a welcoming, family‑centered environment.
  • Ensure compliance with clinic policies, organizational standards, and healthcare regulations.
  • Monitor performance metrics, identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as a liaison between staff, providers, patients, and leadership to address concerns and resolve issues promptly.
  • Support staffing needs, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain an organized, efficient, and patient‑focused administrative workflow within the pediatric clinic.
