About The Position

St. Barnabas Health System is seeking an experienced Housekeeper for Beaver Meadows Nursing Home in Beaver, Pennsylvania. This full-time, daylight position works Monday through Friday and is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, kitchens, common areas, and other facility spaces; restocking paper products and soap; maintaining floors and carpets; and keeping equipment clean and reporting needed repairs. The Housekeeper also attends required in-service training and staff meetings and performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to interact with team members, other staff, and residential clientele.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position, sitting or standing.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to navigate and move around the facility to provide cleaning services.

Responsibilities

• Clean, mop, and disinfect restrooms daily.
• Restock paper products and soaps.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and other areas; vacuum, dust, and remove trash to outside containers.
• Vacuum carpeted common areas daily, remove stains, and clean carpets as needed.
• Mop tile and other hard-surface floors daily.
• Maintain and clean equipment daily and report any repairs to the supervisor.
• Attend required in-service education training and staff meetings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
