About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and public areas. Key duties include replacing amenities, linens, and terry items, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, removing trash, dusting and polishing furniture, vacuuming carpets, cleaning floors, and ensuring appliances are present and in working order. The role also involves maintaining the cleaning cart and supplies, responding to guest requests, and assisting in other areas as directed.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and prioritize workload
• Must be able to move, lift, and carry items 25 pounds or less without assistance
• Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart
• Required to stand, kneel, and walk for extended periods of time
• Flexible schedule (to include weekends)

Responsibilities

• Replace guest amenities, dirty linens, and terry items in guest rooms.
• Make beds, fold terry, clean bathrooms, and remove trash.
• Dust/polish and remove marks from walls and furniture as necessary.
• Vacuum carpets and clean floors regularly (guest rooms and public areas).
• Check that all appliances are present and in working order.
• Maintain cleaning cart and supplies.
• Respond to guest requests as needed.
• Assist in other areas, as directed by A/GM.
