About The Position
Find your purpose in a Housekeeper position, keeping our facilities clean and safe for those we serve and those who serve them. All while kickstarting a great career in healthcare working with a caring team of coworkers in our Rice Memorial EVS department. Our team consists of around 30 amazing employees and a dedicated manager that works tirelessly to create a positive working environment where everyone can enjoy their work life. The Housekeeping crew is comprised of many veterans and a few new additions. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in an assigned area as specified by a work schedule. This will be accomplished by utilization of a seven-step cleaning procedure. Housekeepers have daily direct contact with patients, and must have a good diplomacy with patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
Requirements
- Must be able to read and write English.
- Must have basic math knowledge and be able to follow instructions.
- Knowledgeable about housekeeping procedures/techniques – will be trained on the job.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma preferred
- Previous experience helpful but not required.
