About The Position

The Housekeeper maintains a clean, organized, and safe store environment, with a focus on floor care. The role includes operating floor-care equipment and cleaning floors, glass, and windows; maintaining cleanliness and recovery standards across the store; and following health, safety, operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention policies. The Housekeeper is cross-trained in multiple store areas and helps meet Front End coverage needs while supporting the store team and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the scrubber and buffer and perform floor care, including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
• Dust and spot-clean glass and windows.
• Maintain floor-care cleanliness standards and the maintenance and operation of floor-care equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and recovery standards throughout the store, including the Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom, and Restrooms.
• Follow company health and safety policies, including refilling essential items in the Lounge, Restrooms, and Front End.
• Cross-train and work in other store areas, including the Backroom, Front End, and Sales Floor.
• Support and respond to Front End coverage needs.
• Uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
• Follow operational and loss-prevention controls, including shrink-reduction guidelines and policies.
• Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
• Follow labor laws and company policies and procedures, including meal and break period policies.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
