About The Position
Cleans assigned/designated building areas and performs a variety of housekeeping duties in order to maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions.
Requirements
- Ability to follow safety protocols including Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for chemical usage.
- Ability to maintain a respectful, courteous demeanor that preserves resident dignity.
Responsibilities
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and clean bathrooms in resident areas and public spaces like hallways, lobbies, and dining rooms.
- Properly disinfect high-touch surfaces, handle infectious waste bags safely, and follow safety protocols including Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for chemical usage.
- Change bed linens, manage laundry tasks when required, and restock restrooms and cleaning supplies.
- Report repair or safety hazards to supervisors promptly while maintaining a respectful, courteous demeanor that preserves resident dignity.
