About The Position

Cleans assigned/designated building areas and performs a variety of housekeeping duties in order to maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions. This includes cleaning resident rooms and common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and dining rooms. The role also involves sanitation and infection control, linen and supply management, and reporting maintenance needs while maintaining positive resident relations.

Requirements

• Ability to follow safety protocols including Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for chemical usage.
• Maintain a respectful, courteous demeanor that preserves resident dignity.

Responsibilities

• Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and clean bathrooms in resident areas and public spaces like hallways, lobbies, and dining rooms.
• Properly disinfect high-touch surfaces, handle infectious waste bags safely, and follow safety protocols including Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for chemical usage.
• Change bed linens, manage laundry tasks when required, and restock restrooms and cleaning supplies.
• Report repair or safety hazards to supervisors promptly while maintaining a respectful, courteous demeanor that preserves resident dignity.
