Housekeeper
About The Position
Touchmark at Mount Bachelor Village, located at 19800 SW Touchmark Way, is Central Oregon's leading full-service, award-winning retirement community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services and amenities. We are currently seeking: A full-time Housekeeper. Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM. Starting wage: $20.00 per hour, depending on experience, benefit eligible. As a Housekeeper, you will enrich lives every day by ensuring that each of the resident’s homes, as well as our community’s common areas, are exceptionally clean, healthy, and pleasant for residents and guests to enjoy. This is not your standard housekeeping position – at Touchmark, you have the daily opportunity to build long-term relationships with the wonderful people who call this community “home!”
Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be able to read, write, and speak English
- Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
- Have reliable and consistent attendance
- Commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers
- Belief in doing everything they can to lead by example in safety, compassion, and empathy.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working as a housekeeper in a resort or retirement community
- Willing to work occasional weekends and holidays or fill in when needed
