About The Position

Wellbridge - Fort Worth, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Housekeeper to join their team. This role is crucial in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for patients and staff. The Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including trash removal, changing linens, and sanitizing surfaces. They will also follow patient isolation policies, stock necessary supplies, and maintain cleaning carts and equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities

• Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Follows policies and procedures on patient isolation.
• Stocks paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated.
• Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition and stores in appropriate storage area when finished with shift.
