About The Position
The Housekeeping Aide performs various housekeeping duties to ensure TANDEM LIVING maintains a high level of cleanliness and pleasant atmosphere. This position is performed in accordance with TANDEM LIVING Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations.
Requirements
- A valid PA driver’s license with a minimum of two (2) years of driving experience is required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Previous Housekeeping experience in a healthcare or hospitality setting preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly cleans resident's rooms/apartments/villas as assigned and/or prior to a new admission/move-in.
- Thoroughly cleans and refills supplies in all public areas and public restrooms.
- Cleans insides/outsides of windows/doors.
- Uses step stool/ladder to change out all types of curtains and to clean light fixtures as needed.
- Uses small carpet spotter on carpet spots/upholstery as needed.
- Follows regular cleaning rotation checklists and schedules.
- Completes required paperwork.
- Works with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates good time management skills to ensure all assignments get completed before end of shift.
- Responds to all emails and calls over radio.
- Operates TANDEM LIVING company vehicle as needed.
