About The Position

A loving family in TriBeCa, NYC, is seeking a full-time housekeeper to join their home. The position follows a typical Monday-through-Friday schedule from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The family is seeking a local candidate and is not looking to relocate anyone. This is an immediate hire. The housekeeper will handle housekeeping and laundry, support household organization and operations, and work comfortably in a home with young children.

Requirements

Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Be fully vaccinated.
Have at least 5 years of prior experience as a private high-end housekeeper.
Live locally or within commuting distance of NYC.
Be fluent in English.
Be tech savvy.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
Be comfortable working in a home with young children.
Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Perform daily housekeeping duties and general home organization.
Complete routine and seasonal deep-cleaning projects.
Manage laundry, including washing, ironing, handwashing delicates, and coordinating dry cleaning.
Care for fine furnishings, surfaces, art, silver, china, and crystal using appropriate methods.
Maintain plants and floral arrangements throughout the home.
Organize closets, cabinets, and storage areas.
Support dinner parties, including providing light service assistance.
Monitor the home for necessary repairs and report them.
Help stock household and cleaning supplies and manage inventory of personal care items; the personal assistant handles ordering.
Assist with packing, unpacking, and travel preparation as needed.
Run local errands for the principals and team as needed.
Communicate with household staff and vendors to support smooth day-to-day operations.
