Responsibilities include performing in-patient room discharge cleaning to maintain aseptic conditions according to approved standards, and daily cleaning and sanitation of various spaces such as patient rooms, offices, public areas, and clinical spaces. Cleaning must meet or exceed hospital standards outlined in department policies. The position requires collaborating and building professional relationships with colleagues, leaders, staff, patients, and families, and communicating needs for assigned areas to relevant personnel. Continuous physical activity is expected throughout the shift. Other duties may be assigned based on hospital and patient needs.
