About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at The Rushwood Senior Living in Wichita, KS. This full-time position plays a crucial role in creating a comfortable, clean, and cozy living environment for our residents by providing essential housekeeping services. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of common areas, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for everyone.

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Professional appearance and conduct.
• Must be active and able to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to push/pull a wheeled housekeeping cart.
• Must be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
• Must have a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
• Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at the time of health screening.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Provide housekeeping services for residents to make each room a comfortable, clean, and cozy place to live.
• Ensure all areas, from the lobby to the employee break room, are tidy and clean.
• Maintain everything in its place within the community.
