About The Position

Napa Post Acute is hiring a Housekeeper to join our team! If you take pride in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, we'd love to have you. As a Housekeeper, you'll play a vital role in keeping our facility clean, sanitary, and comfortable for our residents, staff, and visitors. Your work directly contributes to the health, safety, and well-being of those in our care.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs.
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks (sweeping, mopping, wiping)
• Ability to keep pace in a fast-moving environment

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain lobbies, restrooms, common areas, and floors
• Clean and sanitize resident rooms and bathrooms regularly
• Wipe down handrails, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, and dispensers
• Empty trash cans and replace liners
• Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility
• Follow safety protocols, including proper signage and secure chemical storage
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and according to manufacturer instructions
• Keep housekeeping carts and supply areas clean and organized
• Report safety concerns to your supervisor right away
• Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude
