About The Position

Medical Hill Healthcare is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. Your work plays an essential role in supporting resident comfort, health, and overall quality of care. If you take pride in creating clean and organized spaces while making a positive impact on others, we'd love to have you on our team.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and pushing housekeeping equipment throughout the shift.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare, skilled nursing, hospitality, or similar setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, nursing stations, offices, and common areas.
• Dust, mop, vacuum, sweep, and disinfect surfaces according to facility standards.
• Empty trash and replace liners throughout the facility.
• Replenish housekeeping and restroom supplies as needed.
• Follow infection control procedures and proper cleaning techniques.
• Safely handle and dispose of waste in accordance with facility policies.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and appropriately.
• Respond promptly and courteously to resident and staff requests.
• Help create a comfortable, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to the appropriate department.
• Work collaboratively with nursing, laundry, maintenance, and other departments.
• Follow daily cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold resident privacy at all times.
• Adhere to all facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
