Housekeeper - Assisted Living
About The Position
Windsor Manor Nevada is hiring a Full-Time Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating clean, comfortable, and welcoming spaces. Experience in hotels, healthcare, apartments, schools, commercial cleaning, or janitorial services is welcome. The position offers a consistent daytime schedule with no late nights, supportive team environment, and great work-life balance. Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Familiar with safe operation of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, spray bottles.
- Familiar with the safe use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
- Adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, hotel, hospitality, healthcare, or cleaning experience preferred.
- Assisted Living experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Dependable and reliable attendance.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented approach.
- Passion for creating a clean and comfortable environment for seniors.
- Minimum one (1) year housekeeping experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Clean vacant apartments in preparation for move-in using Company Checklist.
- Report any problem areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Clean occupied apartments, respite and guest apartments as scheduled using Company Checklist.
- Detail clean halls and other common areas as scheduled or when requested by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Keep inventory of cleaning supplies to ensure an adequate supply.
- Report items needed to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Keep laundry rooms and housekeeping/linen rooms clean and organized.
- Clean lint from dryer lint traps daily and clean area behind washer & dryer equipment weekly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
