About The Position

A private household in Lake Forest is seeking an experienced Part-Time, Live-Out Housekeeper to join their established household team. This position is ideal for a dedicated household professional who is polished, discreet, dependable, and takes pride in maintaining a beautifully cared-for home. The family's long-standing Housekeeper will assist with training and onboarding, helping the incoming Housekeeper become familiar with the household's routines, preferences, and standards.

Requirements

• Professional housekeeping experience, preferably within a high-end private residence
• Reliable, polished, organized, discreet, kind, flexible, and committed to providing an exceptional level of household service
• Detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to recognize what needs attention and take initiative without requiring constant direction
• Comfortable managing responsibilities independently while also working collaboratively as part of an established household team
• Strong driving record
• Comfort around dogs
• Excellent professional references

Responsibilities

• Complete detailed daily cleaning and periodic deep cleaning to a high standard
• Ensure the residence remains immaculate, organized, and beautifully maintained
• Provide proper care for fine furnishings, household surfaces, and finishes
• Handle household laundry, linens, and garment care with attention to detail
• Maintain organization of closets, storage areas, and common living spaces
• Unpack and put away groceries and other household purchases
• Drive the principal to and from appointments as needed
• Coordinate and work collaboratively with other members of the household staff
• Let the family dog outside as needed; no significant pet care required
• Exercise professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality at all times
