As a Shift Manager, you'll play a key role in driving store performance, maintaining operational standards, coaching team members, and ensuring every guest receives outstanding service. Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Availability to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) each week
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Demonstrated commitment to punctuality, including arriving on time, prepared, and ready to begin work at the scheduled start of each shift
- Dependable attendance record with the ability to consistently meet scheduled shifts
- Ability to proactively communicate scheduling conflicts, emergencies, or absences in accordance with company policies
- Strong work ethic and commitment to being dependable, accountable, and team-oriented
- Ability to follow directions, procedures, and brand standards consistently
- TB clearance required (if applicable by location)
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and remain active throughout a shift
- Comfortable working in warm and cold environments, including around ovens, prep areas, and walk-in coolers
- Basic math skills and confidence using point-of-sale systems
- Ability to taste-test products as part of quality control processes
- Strong communication, teamwork, leadership, and guest service skills
- Food Handler Certification (current or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and store technology systems
- Demonstrates honesty, accountability, reliability, and a willingness to learn and grow
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of food service, restaurant, retail, or supervisory experience preferred
- Previous leadership, keyholder, or shift management experience is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Welcome every guest with friendly, energetic, and professional service
- Lead shifts and provide direction, coaching, and support to team members
- Prepare, bake, and serve Auntie Anne's products according to brand recipes and quality standards
- Ensure operational, food safety, and guest service standards are consistently met
- Consistently deliver accurate orders and a positive guest experience
- Operate registers and handle cash, payments, and transactions responsibly and accurately
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash accountability, and shift execution
- Monitor productivity and overall shift performance
- Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Support the training and development of new and existing team members
- Maintain a clean, stocked, organized, and food-safe environment throughout your shift
- Arrive on time, in proper uniform, and ready to work at the start of every scheduled shift
- Maintain reliable attendance and follow established call-out and scheduling procedures
- Plan ahead for transportation, traffic, and parking to ensure timely arrival
- Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow through with strong attention to detail
- Support teammates during busy periods and work collaboratively to achieve store goals
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, loss prevention, and operational procedures
- Demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and a positive attitude in every aspect of the job
- Help create a culture of teamwork, reliability, and respect
