New Vista Health and Wellness is currently recruiting Full Time Housekeeper positions at The Grove Estates. Day shifts available. Pay Range: $13-$15 an hour. Requirements
- Experience working in housekeeping for a large facility, preferred.
- Positive Attitude!
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Teamwork, flexibility needed to fulfill job responsibilities, adapting to changes in work environment and accepting supervisory feedback.
- Professional, courteous, and respectful interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and other staff.
- Accountability, compliance, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks of client rooms, offices, and public areas
- Vacuum, dust, mop, sweep, and take out trash.
- Clear areas with disinfectants.
- Refill supplies (paper products, soap, etc.)
- Ensure that adequate linens are kept in the hospital.
- Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor (such as leaky faucets or toilets, missing nuts or screws, beds needing repair, etc).
- Ensuring a safe and risk preventative environment within OSHA regulations.
