About The Position

Nazareth Home is seeking a passionate Housekeeper to help maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection control throughout our Highlands facility. This is a full-time position with a weekend shift differential. Nazareth Home is an award-winning, nonprofit long-term care and recovery community founded by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, recognized for delivering person-centered health and wellness services for aging adults through individualized care, innovative technologies, and meaningful connections.

Requirements

• No education or work experience is required for this position.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED
• One to three months related experience and/or training
• Previous experience in healthcare facility preferred
• Ability to commute/relocate: Louisville, KY 40205: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
• Environmental services: 1 year (Preferred)
• Commercial cleaning: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility.
• Perform routine cleaning of resident rooms and common areas.
• Support linen distribution.
• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Dust, sweep, mop, and polish fixtures and surfaces.
• Perform high-area cleaning and follow isolation procedures.
• Gather and dispose of trash and waste materials.
• Deliver and maintain linens according to schedules.
