About The Position
The Health and Human Services Agency is looking for qualified applicants for Healthcare Agency Housekeeper to independently perform housekeeping services within assigned area(s) of a hospital and/or other healthcare facility where patients may be present. Immediate vacancies are at the Edgemoor Distinct Part-Skilled Nursing Facility, 655 Park Center Drive, Santee, CA; however, the eligible list established from this recruitment may be used by other departments.
Requirements
- Three (3) months of verifiable paid housekeeping and/or custodial experience in a hospital, health care facility, or commercial or business setting.
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Willing to work holidays, weekends, and rotating shifts
- Able to work in areas with potential exposure to caustic chemicals
- Able to work in areas with potential exposure to contagious diseases
- Able to work around occasionally violent and hostile people or patients with mental illness.

Benefits
- Future Salary Increases: June 2027 – 6.74% increase to base pay (2.9% Across-the-Board + 3.84% Market Adjustment)
