Housekeeper - Seasonal Part Time
About The Position
Jackson Hole Resort Lodging is seeking a Seasonal Part Time Housekeeper to clean condominiums and homes thoroughly according to established company standards and cleaning checklists. This role involves stocking properties with supplies, managing property keys responsibly, and ensuring properties are secured upon departure. The Housekeeper will also handle fireplace ashes with extreme caution, maintain the organization of the housekeeping linen room, report maintenance needs, and turn in lost and found items. This position is classified as Summer Seasonal, Part Time, and is Non-Exempt.
Requirements
- Minimum 16 years of age.
- Neat appearance and positive attitude.
- Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
- Ability to recognize projects that need attention.
- Valid driver's license approved by insurance carrier required.
- Owns their own reliable vehicle.
- Ability to communicate in English with guests and staff.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Clean condominiums and homes thoroughly as specified on the cleaning checklist and according to established company standards.
- Stock condominiums and homes with supplies, as specified on the supply checklist and according to established company standards.
- Check out and check in keys to properties on a daily basis. Ensure keys are not kept overnight; lost keys will result in a payroll deduction.
- When leaving a property, close and lock all doors and windows, set thermostats to 60 degrees (70 degrees in winter), close fireplace flues, and ensure furniture is at least six inches away from baseboard electrical heaters.
- Handle fireplace ashes with extreme caution, placing them only in designated containers and never with other trash or garbage.
- Assist in keeping the housekeeping linen room neat and orderly by putting away all supplies and linen at the end of the workday.
- Report any items requiring replacement and/or repair, or any damage, to the Executive Housekeeper as soon as possible.
- Turn in all lost and found items, properly tagged, to the housekeeping office in a timely fashion.
- Perform any other housekeeping related duties as may be required.
