About The Position

Maintain cleanliness of all Club areas promoting sanitary conditions. This is a part-time seasonal position with weekend days and weekday evening shifts. The role involves cleaning restrooms, restocking supplies, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, emptying trash, disinfecting, polishing, and assisting with furniture setup for events. The housekeeper will also be responsible for deep-cleaning projects, cleaning walls and windows, and transporting linens. Occasional watering of plants is also required.

Requirements

Must handle cleaning solvents and must comply with safety regulations
Uses protective gear when necessary as required by OSHA, EPA and State Health Department
Able to stand and walk for long hours, bending, lifting, carry and reaching overhead
Ability to balance and stooping
Occasionally lift and or move up to 40 lbs

Responsibilities

Cleans restrooms, restocks restroom supplies in multiple buildings
Dusts rooms and furniture
Vacuums carpets and mops floors throughout the club including dining areas
Sweeps deck area and dusts deck furniture
Empties all waste baskets and ashtrays
Disinfects phones
Cleans and polishes brass
Reports any damage, burned-out light bulbs and plumbing problems to the maintenance director or general manager
Takes trash to dumpster
Polishes glass, table surfaces, counters, shelves, desks, office equipment and door handles
Moves furniture as needed and assists with banquet setup
Cleans walls throughout clubhouse as necessary
Cleans windows regularly including windows on doors
Conducts deep-cleaning projects
Assists with set up of tables, chairs and other furniture needed for special events
Cleans stairwells and landings, dusts ceiling light fixtures, does spot cleaning as necessary; checks drapes for needed repairs and missing hooks
Transports linen to and from the linen or laundry room
Waters plants as needed
