About The Position

We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you'll help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents throughout our community.

Requirements

A positive attitude and strong customer service skills
Good time management and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Ability to read and follow written instructions and procedure manuals
Ability to solve practical, everyday problems on the job
Fluency in written and spoken English
High school diploma or GED required
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
Regularly sit, kneel, stand, walk, talk, read, and hear throughout the shift
Comfortable with routine use of housekeeping supplies/equipment and basic office equipment (copier/scanner/fax, phone, calculator)

Nice To Haves

Experience in a long-term care facility preferred

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of all public and common areas, including the lobby, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floors
Clean and maintain resident rooms and bathrooms
Keep handrails clean and free of debris
Clean dust, dirt, and food residue from walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and towel dispensers
Empty trash cans and replace liners
Sweep and mop floors
Follow proper safety protocols, including use of caution signage and keeping cleaning supplies/chemicals secured and out of residents' reach
Operate cleaning supplies and equipment safely, per manufacturer instructions
Keep housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas clean, sanitary, and organized
Promptly report resident safety concerns to the Director of Housekeeping, Administrator, or Director of Nursing
Notify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need to be restocked
