About The Position

Hilton Garden Inn at OSU is hiring Housekeepers! Starting pay: $15.00/hour, based on experience. Join our Housekeeping team and help us provide a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for every guest.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused demeanor.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience operating commercial washers and dryers is a plus, but training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Follow all hotel operating procedures, housekeeping standards, and safety policies.
• Become knowledgeable about room types, amenities, and supply standards.
• Clean and sanitize guest rooms and replenish supplies and amenities.
• Inspect rooms and report any maintenance issues or damage to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Report rooms ready for sale to the Front Desk according to hotel procedures.
• Dust and clean all guest room furnishings and fixtures, including televisions, desks, chairs, lamps, air conditioning units, headboards, nightstands, pictures, and window ledges.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and housekeeping carts in a safe, organized, and presentable manner.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests.
• Handle guest concerns and complaints in a courteous and effective manner.
• Provide friendly and helpful service to guests, managers, and fellow associates.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Prepare guest rooms thoroughly and within established time standards.
• Ensure "No Service" rooms are properly approved by the Inspector or Front Desk.
• Wear the required uniform and name tag while working.
• Follow all hotel policies and emergency procedures.
• Respect guest privacy and avoid disturbing guests whenever possible.
• Assist with laundry and public area cleaning as needed.
• Maintain a clean and professional personal appearance.
• Be willing to work flexible hours based on business needs.
• Participate in deep-cleaning projects as assigned.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
