About The Position
A family of 4 on the Upper East Side of New York is seeking a highly experienced, full-time housekeeper to join their home as soon as possible. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, well-organized environment. The general schedule will be Monday through Friday from 10am to 6pm with flexibility. This is a live-out position, and only local candidates will be considered.
Requirements
- Legal to work in the U.S.
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Excellent verifiable references
Nice To Haves
- Spanish-speaking is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of home
- Laundry care, including washing, folding, and ironing
- Changing of linens and making beds
- Kitchen upkeep throughout the day, especially dish-washing
- General organization and tidiness throughout the home
- Wardrobe management and organization
- Keep an inventory of household cleaning supplies and other relevant household items.
- Work proactively to anticipate household needs and maintain high standards
- Prepare simple dinners (i.e. rice, pasta, salmon, chicken, broccoli)
