About The Position

The Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning the lodge and rooms consistently based on hotel standards, setting up the laundry cart and organizing the laundry closet. This role involves ensuring all accommodations are guest-ready, maintaining cleanliness of common areas, and supporting guest needs to enhance the overall guest experience.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Good verbal communication skills.
Ability to read, write and speak the English language fluently.
Ability to work under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and efficiency.
Interpersonal skills to provide overall customer satisfaction.
Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

1-2 years previous experience as a housekeeper.

Responsibilities

Properly prepare and clean rooms to ensure they are guest-ready prior to each stay.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all lodging accommodations to exceptional standards.
Ensure common areas such as the lobby, hallways, and restrooms are clean.
Verify that guests have left accommodations in good condition at check-out.
Perform vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and washing of all surfaces, and remove debris from the property.
Manage and restock linens after each stay and replenish standard supplies in suites.
Set up and maintain the laundry cart and organize the laundry closet.
Transport laundry to and from the laundry facility and The Timber.
Clean and maintain fire pit areas.
Audit furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure they meet quality cleanliness standards and checklists.
Notify management of any furnishings, linens, etc., that require repair or replacement.
Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored properly.
Adhere to hotel safety and sanitation policies.
Assist guests with needs around the property to enhance the overall guest experience.
