About The Position

Drury Hotels is looking for individuals who want to find a place where they belong, not just a job. As an essential team member, you will play a major role in creating memorable moments for guests. You will work on a team completing daily duties such as vacuuming, changing linens, and making bathrooms shine. We offer cleaner rooms than our competition and the extras don't cost extra, making our hotels stand out and keeping guests coming back. This role is eligible for a discretionary quarterly “+1 Service” bonus.

Requirements

No previous cleaning experience required.
Requires knowledge, skill and mental ability equivalent to completion of 2 years of high school.
Requires the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Requires a thorough knowledge of cleaning procedures as well as cleaning supplies.
Requires the ability to work without direct supervision.
Provides excellent customer service.
Requires the ability to walk and stand for the entire work shift.
Requires ability to push, vacuum, reach, stretch, and bend in daily work activities.
Requires ability to lift 25 – 35 pounds intermittently throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and positive environment for guests and team members.
Ensure exceptional and positive experiences for our diverse team members and guests.
Perform various hotel cleaning duties to keep rooms clean according to established standards.
Visually inspect rooms to help identify needed maintenance items.
Assist guests by providing linens, towels, amenities, or information when requested.
Ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing friendly and courteous service with a Service +1 attitude.
Contribute to maintaining a positive work environment at all times for our diverse team members and guests.
May be asked to assist in laundry/cleaning public spaces when needed.
