About The Position

Join our team at Mountainview Commons, a welcoming senior apartment community in Granville, New York, providing 41 quality apartment homes for seniors. We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents. This position is 12 hours per week, typically scheduled during weekday business hours. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One to two years of housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
Knowledge of cleaning equipment, products, and safety procedures.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Basic computer or tablet proficiency.
Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow established cleaning schedules.
Clean common areas including hallways, community rooms, offices, and restrooms.
Vacuum, dust, mop floors, empty trash, and disinfect high-touch surfaces.
Clean and prepare vacant apartments for new resident move-ins.
Clean and deodorize bathrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
Maintain adequate inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
Complete work orders and inspections in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Communicate maintenance concerns and housekeeping issues to management promptly.
Participate in required meetings and training programs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
