About The Position

Palm Point Behavioral Health is recruiting for a per-diem Housekeeper. The role is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting various areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, waiting rooms, restrooms, the cafeteria, break rooms, offices, and other spaces. The Housekeeper helps maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and infection-free environment for patients, visitors, and healthcare staff by following infection-control protocols and using approved cleaning solutions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Prior housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, bathrooms, and public areas, including dusting, vacuuming, and washing windows.
• Disinfect surfaces and equipment using appropriate cleaning agents and following infection-control protocols.
• Change bed linens.
• Maintain an infection-free environment throughout the hospital.
• Use approved cleaning solutions for proper disinfection.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
