About The Position

LivINN Hotels is a small business in hospitality in Burnsville, MN. We are professional, agile, fast-paced and our goal is to provide exceptional and memorable experiences for guest and residents. We have properties around the metro and in Sharonville OH. The Hotel Room Housekeeper will clean, restock, and maintain hotel rooms as assigned to maximize the customer and employee experience by giving the best possible service. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.

Requirements

Sufficient education and literacy are needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in basic English preferred.
Must pass a background check.
Detail-oriented and thorough.
Must be approachable with a friendly, enthusiastic attitude.
Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guests.
Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards.
Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant, friendly way.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Willingness to work varying shift lengths depending on seasonal demands.

Responsibilities

Follow company policies and procedures as outlined in the company handbook and training manuals.
Receives list of assigned rooms from manager and prioritizes rooms requesting early cleaning.
Checks the inventory of cleaning carts and adds any necessary supplies.
Completes room clean in 30 minutes or less.
Removes soiled linens, towels, bedspreads, and blankets from each assigned room and provides fresh replacements.
Notify supervisor of any potential pest infestations.
Neatly makes beds and stocks towels, washcloths, and hand towels according to policies.
Cleans and disinfects bathroom and kitchenette or coffee-preparation areas according to hotel policies.
Wipes surfaces in room and cleans mirrors.
Vacuums floors and removes trash.
Checks complimentary coffee, snack, and toiletry supplies in the room, restocking according to provided hotel checklist and policy.
Ensures room meets hotel standards with a final walkaround.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
