About The Position
The goal of Environmental Services is to provide a clean, orderly, and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff in alignment with the mission and philosophy of St. Peter’s Health Partners. This is a Per Diem - Days position at Heritage House.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of healthcare environmental services experience
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing)
Responsibilities
- Perform general housekeeping and floor care duties
- Assist Supervisor with scheduling, staff oversight, inventory, and special projects
- Ensure overall cleanliness of assigned buildings
- Complete thorough daily room cleaning following all training and sanitation protocols
- Follow infection control policies and procedures
- Maintain professional communication with staff, patients, residents, and families
- Respond politely and efficiently to requests
- Report issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor
- Perform additional duties assigned by Supervisor or Director
- Uphold SPHP Standards of Behavior
