About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a part-time Housekeeper to help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role involves cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices; following sanitation and safety procedures; and helping provide a welcoming experience for residents, staff, and guests. The position requires physical stamina, the ability to perform repetitive tasks, and compliance with applicable vaccination policies. Starting pay is USD $14.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Ability to work around cleaning products.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of all areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
