Requirements

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience is preferred, but not required
Healthcare, hospitality, hotel, or commercial cleaning experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, operating and recovery rooms, offices, laboratories, restrooms, and other hospital areas
Performing thorough discharge cleaning of patient rooms, including sanitizing beds, furniture, and patient care equipment
Dusting, mopping, vacuuming, polishing, and sanitizing floors, furniture, fixtures, glass surfaces, and restrooms
Restocking paper products, soap, and other essential supplies throughout assigned areas
Emptying waste containers and maintaining clean, sanitary workspaces
Reporting maintenance concerns and safety hazards to leadership
Maintaining housekeeping carts and cleaning equipment while following hospital safety procedures
Providing friendly, professional service while working respectfully with patients, visitors, and hospital staff
