Requirements

High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
Ability to follow instructions and maintain high cleanliness standards
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to safely use cleaning products and equipment
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

Previous housekeeping, hospital, or hotel experience
Experience in senior living or residential environments
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain resident apartments and common areas to ensure a safe, sanitary, and inviting environment
Perform daily housekeeping tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and trash removal
Follow proper procedures for mixing and using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively
Ensure housekeeping carts, equipment, and supplies are prepared and ready at the start of each shift
Maintain and clean all equipment, returning it to designated storage areas at the end of the day
Identify and report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety hazards promptly
Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE and “wet floor” signage
Provide respectful, friendly service when interacting with residents—always maintaining their dignity and privacy
Follow departmental standards, schedules, and quality expectations in all work performed
