About The Position

Deerfield Supportive Living is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, families, visitors, and team members. The role maintains resident and community spaces and provides friendly, respectful service to those who call Deerfield Supportive Living home. The position is full-time, Tuesday through Saturday, during daytime hours. The job requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred.
Senior living, healthcare, or hospitality experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain common areas, including hallways, restrooms, dining areas, resident spaces, and other community areas.
Perform routine cleaning, sanitizing, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and other housekeeping duties.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the community.
Properly use, store, and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
Monitor housekeeping supply inventory and communicate when additional supplies are needed.
Identify and report maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to the appropriate team member.
Assist with resident move-ins and move-outs as needed.
Follow established infection control, safety, and cleaning procedures.
Provide friendly, respectful, and professional service to residents, families, visitors, and team members.
Assist with additional housekeeping or janitorial duties as assigned.
