About The Position

Maintaining the property and the apartments in a clean and safe manner according to company standards. This role involves ensuring the cleanliness of various areas within the community, including common spaces, offices, and vacant units, while also contributing to curb appeal and maintaining positive resident relations.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a background check
• No specific level of education is required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and high personal standards of cleanliness
• Ability to use general cleaning equipment and tools, including vacuums, cleaning chemicals, hand tools, hoses, and step ladders
• Capable of lifting and moving up to 50-75 pounds (e.g., trash bags, cleaning supplies, and equipment)
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and walking while cleaning and removing debris
• Ability to safely use ladders and work at heights of up to 8-9 feet
• Sufficient mobility and flexibility to access hard-to-reach areas and complete detailed cleaning tasks
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme temperatures
• Capable of performing duties safely without risk to self, residents, or team members

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of leasing office spaces, model unit, fitness center, and any additional common areas as directed
• Assist with picking up grounds and organizing community furniture daily
• Clean community bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, and fixtures, daily
• Vacuum carpeted areas and mop floors
• Clean windows and spot clean walls
• Dust furniture, walls, and decorative pieces
• Tidy offices and empty trash cans daily
• Clean baseboards, pictures, lights, and HVAC vents.
• Work with the maintenance team to ensure excellent curb appeal at all times
• Maintain an excellent customer service relationship
• Inspect exterior grounds and buildings, including breezeways, daily
• Clean the mailbox area
• Deliver and/or post correspondence, newsletters, and flyers
• Turn vacant units as needed throughout the year and assist in the performance of turn events
• Perform additional duties as directed
• Adhere to the company dress code
