About The Position

The Housekeeper performs daily cleaning duties for assigned rooms and helps provide exceptional guest experiences. The role maintains guest rooms and public areas according to resort and brand standards, responds to guest inquiries and needs, and demonstrates commitment to the company’s Inspired Hospitality culture when interacting with members, owners, guests, and team members. This is a temporary position supporting an employee leave of absence and is anticipated to last approximately 3–5 months.

Requirements

• Open and flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to bend, stoop, and walk; lift up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 100 pounds.
• Able to work an eight-hour shift walking or standing, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to communicate effectively with guests in English.
• Able to tolerate environmental factors such as humidity, cold, heat, dust, and noise.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned rooms by stripping linens, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, washing dishes, making beds, cleaning bathrooms and counters, replenishing linens and guest amenities, and moving furniture.
• Complete work within allotted time frames to meet production standards.
• Greet guests and respond promptly to requests with friendly and sincere acknowledgment.
• Know resort services, activities, and local attractions to assist with guest inquiries.
• Report deficiencies that prevent rooms from meeting resort standards, as well as maintenance deficiencies.
• Assist co-workers as requested.
• Follow safety procedures and standards, recognize emergency situations, and respond appropriately.
• Follow key control protocol.
• Keep carts clean and supplies and equipment neat and orderly.
• Secure departmental assets and supplies neatly in storage areas.
• Assist management with maintaining an accurate inventory of housekeeping supplies.
• Clean public areas, including stairwells, railings, walkways, trash rooms, and trash bins; perform general dusting and deep cleaning.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the lobby and ensure glass doors are clean and spotless.
• Maintain cleanliness and appropriate supply levels in public-area restrooms.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
