As a Housekeeper, you help ensure the community remains safe, comfortable, and well-maintained for residents and team members. This role supports the overall operation of the community by responding to housekeeping needs and helping maintain the physical environment. Requirements

  • Ability to learn new skills and acquire job knowledge through on-the-job training and instruction to successfully meet job performance expectations.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • A passion for working with the aging population

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior professional housekeeping experience

Responsibilities

  • Clean resident units, bathing areas, lounges, offices, hallways, dining area, common areas, public bathrooms, and other rooms as assigned.
  • Mop floors, vacuum, spot cleans carpeted areas, and empty trash.
  • Dust and/or wash furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Wash windows and sills and other annual cleaning functions as required.
  • Clean public telephone and drinking fountains.
  • Clean and sanitize lavatories and toilet bowls inside and out.
  • Perform written cleaning procedures and follow written cleaning schedules for common areas, resident units, and health center rooms.
  • Keep all equipment and storage areas clean and orderly.
  • Transport and stock linens and other equipment.
  • Follow all written infection control procedures established by the community
