About The Position
Housekeeper - Little Ocmulgee State Park & Lodge Are you passionate about creating welcoming, spotless spaces for guests to relax and enjoy nature? Little Ocmulgee State Park & Lodge is looking for dedicated Housekeeper to join our team in beautiful South Georgia. Nestled in both Wheeler and Telfair counties just outside of McRae-Helena, our lodge is a nature lover’s paradise. With scenic hiking trails, championship golf, fishing, mini golf, and so much more, we offer the perfect escape – and you can be a key part of making that experience exceptional. Position Overview As a Room Attendant, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms, cabins, and public areas. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you'll play a critical role in creating a welcoming environment that reflects the natural beauty of our park.
Requirements
- 6 months to 1 year of related experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and handling demanding tasks
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Make beds and change linens in accordance with lodge standards
- Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and public spaces thoroughly and efficiently
- Dust, vacuum, and clean carpets, rugs, draperies, and upholstery
- Replenish room amenities and supplies
- Replace light bulbs, remove trash, and restock housekeeping carts
- Follow proper procedures for lost and found items
- Conduct final checks to ensure rooms are guest-ready
